Ready, Set, Re-Set…

Hey friends!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend right before the last minute Christmas craziness happens.  For those of you who are in need of making, or grabbing some last minute gifts, check out this post from Leanne.  She is awesome! She posted Everything Christmas with some awesome crafts, DIY, and recipes for the holiday! I wish I was home and able to get in my kitchen to whip up some of her recipes! They look perfect for thoughtful gifts.

As I have posted many times before, I have to constantly remind myself to re-set my thoughts and push myself to be better.  Last week I posted about returning to my knees and I’ve seen a little progress! I found these images on Pinterest this week (I spend way too much time there) and I thought I needed to share them with you!

I find that one of the hardest things to do! Our minds are a powerful tool and should be used to spread positivity and remind ourselves of our great worth.  Stand in the mirror and remind yourself daily you are doing a great job and thank your body for what it is.  We put our bodies through so much stress daily, we should be thankful instead of feeling insecure about them.  A lesson I am still learning!

I think I need to have this framed in my bathroom.  Especially when I start having little ones running around.  I want them to know that the scale does not determine who they are.

Lastly, this image really caught my attention.  Carson and I have some big life changes coming with the new year and I haven’t been handling it well.  Carson will be moving back to Utah for school while I stay in Vegas with Donny & Marie. I’ve had my fair share of tears and worries but then I realized that if I have faith, all will be ok.  We’ll be taken care of and it’s a small sacrifice for a bigger picture! I’m sure it won’t be the best of times but we aren’t too far away and we’ll get to see each other on weekends.

xoxo

I wish I was at home to make those treats, too! I guess the recipes will be there when we get back 😉
“Our minds are a powerful tool and should be used to spread positivity and remind ourselves of our great worth.” <– thank you for this! I've been struggling with my own body vs. mind battle and was very warmed to read your story. Great that you notice it's an issue and you're working toward fixing it! So much changes once you're honest with what you need to focus on. Thanks Jessie
