Hey all!
so I have got a little recipe to share today! It’s been a long time since I have posted a recipe so I thought it was time! I must give credit to my cute friend Ashley who I danced with in the Donny & Marie show, she gave me this tasty recipe and I fell in love with it!

first of all, let me me warn you. the first ingredient is raw brussel sprouts. i’m sure your first thought is to run far from this recipe but hear me out:) i was skeptical too but now its true love.
Raw Brussel Sprout Summer Salad
Ingredients
- 6 raw brussel sprouts (more or less depending how large you want your salad)
- 1/4 c chopped walnuts (I added more because I am a fan of walnuts)
- half of a lemon
- tbls of extra virgin olive oil
- fresh grated or shredded parmeson
Directions
First make sure the sprouts are cleaned well. slice sprouts so it almost looks like shredded lettuce. then squeeze half of the lemon over sprouts and massage in with hands. add olive oil and do the same. next add walnuts and desired amount of parmeson. stir together and enjoy!

it is the perfect summer salad. so so good. the lemon is so refreshing and you don’t even know you are eating brussel sprouts! it literally took me 7 minutes to throw together and I think i’ve made this salad twice this week and once for a family gathering! I even substituted raw kale for the sprouts today and it was just as tasty!! so why not branch out and give a new salad recipe a try!!
