big shoes to fill…

so this post is no wear fitness or health related but i’m passionate about it so i think it counts:)

last night i dragged my sweet man to yet another dance performance.  this one was a little bit special because it was the same studio that i grew up at, graduated from, and am now teaching for.  i haven’t been involved this year, really at all, since we moved back in may and the dancers are well into their season at that point.  they are getting ready to head out to nationals in about a week so the showcase was a chance for us to see all the numbers going to nationals.

it…was…fantastic.  i think that dancers get better with each generation.  i thought i was good back in the day but these little chickens are incredible.  so…

i have something exciting to share about these little chickens…

i will have the honor and opportunity to run the sr. and teen companies at the studio for next season! i’m a little excited and the kids are seriously some of the best in the state (i may be a little biased but it’s true).  the directors this year have done an amazing job with the kids and i have some big shoes to fill! nervous and excited all at the same time!

good luck to you ladies headed off to nyc!
