hit by a train workout

hey!

so remember when i told you all i was taking a break from the gym? well monday i tried my very first crossfit class and i fell in love with it! unfortunately that has to wait, unless a miracle 4th job opportunity pops ups, so until then i’m going to do my best to kill myself each workout! i’ve mentioned before that carson and i are signed up for tough mudder and i’m getting nervous.  10 miles.  i have never or will ever run 10 miles.  thank goodness it is broken up with obstacles and such so i figured i need to get to running at least a solid 5 miles without dying.

sheesh…

running is hard.  props to all you runners out there! go team.  i’ve been running a measly 3 miles lately and its no walk in the park.  maybe by the time october rolls around i’ll get up to 5.  if it don’t then carson is dragging me through tough mudder:) betta get training honey!

so here is what i did!

downloaded the nike running app (so far behind because apparently everyone already has this:) better late then never!) and hit the pavement.  3.08 miles! woot! pat myself on the back for that one:) i followed my run with a sassy little ab routine that i found on instagram from @petitefi (go follow her! she is crazy into fitness!)

ab killer: follow @petitefi on instagram for all her awesome fitness updates and workouts! i got this ab circuit from her feed!

1 min for each move

  • side oblique V ups
  • twist plank jumps
  • side toe touches
  • jackknife
  • flutter kicks
  • boat pose pull ins

go team!

xoxo

Looks like a great workout – I went for a Nike run this morning too, love the app and the chip that goes with my shoes! 😉 Such an ingenious idea!

Great workout! I’m right there with you on the running! I’m signed up to run a 10k in August – pretty sure I’m going to be walking a lot of it!
