I am so excited to see that I have been nominated for the liebster award! shout out to kristen over at hi+lo for the nomination!  what is the liebster award you may ask….well the Liebster Blog Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. This award is the “favorite blog award” and heres how it works…

1. What’s your favorite way to exercise? hmm i’d have to say dance (as you all know) but hot power yoga and pilates on the reformer are my go to’s!! i just discovered a new pilates studio in town that i am in love with!

2.  What is the farthest you’ve ever been from home? backpacking europe is the farthest i’ve been so far.  what an amazing month of my life! germany, amsterdam, paris, nice, and finished it off in rome!

3.  Describe yourself in three words. driven. emotional. creative.

4.  What book are you reading now? i just finished reading the fault in our stars and it was so good! i started and finished it in a day because i couldn’t put it down! looking for a new one to start.  any ideas?

5.  What was the last movie you watched and how did you like it? we saw winters tale on valentines day and it was terrible.  terrible.  we were holding in laughter most of the time 🙂 i wouldn’t recommend it!

6.  What goals do you have for your blog?  i want to gain a voice in the online world. i want to share my life as a professional dancer who is also a wife and wants a family.  balancing all that is difficult and i want to put it into words.  connect with others like me, and make something that is completely mine.  my space to be creative:)

7.  If you could have any job in the world besides the one you have right now, what would it be? i have a couple… i have large professional dancer dreams as a choreographer/dancer, and i want to be the stylist for lululemon athletica photo shoots and look books, or i want a super successful lifestyle blog!

8.  What’s your favorite sound? this one is hard…and may sound a little silly but i love the sound of issue paper while unpacking retail product.  its usually folded with the product and you have to take it out to hang the item up.  love that sound:) anyone know what i am talking about??

9.  What is something you wish you had more time for? reading.  i love love love to read!!! i wish i had an extra two hours each day dedicated to reading!

10.  If you could be any fictional character, who would you be? i would be dorthy. red slippers and all!

11.  What is the #1 most played song on your iPod? right now its beyonce’s new album.  of course i love the usual favs like ben howard but sometimes i just wanna be a little gangsta and blast queen b’s beats! “i’m a grown woman!”
