Raw dessert addict..

Good evening friends!

Hope you all had a fabulous Thursday! I know I sure had a crazy one! I worked an 11 hour day today! sheesh! I do love to be busy and I’m glad to have the work so bring it on!

You know what else I’m in love with? RAW DESSERTS! Every time I go to a whole foods, good earth, or another natural grocery store I go straight to desk and ask if they carry any raw, and or vegan desserts! Most of the time I find a delicious treat! Last night I tried to create a tasty treat and I think I did alright.  It needs some more tweaking in the way I changed up the recipe but here is the original from RawMazing. I attempted the Cacao Walnut Cookies. (except I only had carob powder so I guess the were Carob Walnut Cookies). Like I said, they still need some work so I’ll keep you posted on my carob version:)

Continuing on with my love, I discovered another awesome treat today at good earth.  Raw Lemon, Cashew, and Coconut cookies! Mmm Mmm Mmm!

They were made with Cashews, Lemon, raw Honey, and coconut! I wonder if I could figure out a way to re create these little piece of heaven?!

Finding a healthy treat fills my need for sugar without feeling guilty! saves me mentally honestly…Just another reason why switching the way I eat has saved me from falling into bad eating habits and old fears related to food. I find that knowing what I’m consuming helps me control the way I feel about what I put into my body:) keeps me sane friends:)

do you like raw desserts?

what are your favorites and where can I find them?

xoxo

Last time I went to Good Earth I went to Cafe Fresh and had a piece of raw chocolate cake. It was actually my first raw prepared dessert and it was DIVINE. Loved it.
