Lunch Smoothie and fear

Hey Friends!

I had another awesome smoothie for Lunch so here it is!

Kale Berry Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 cups of kale
5 whole frozen strawberries
1/2-1 cup frozen blueberries
2 spoonfuls of Hemp Pro Fiber
dash of stevia powder

Combine in the Blender and enjoy.


Now lets chat a little bit friends.  Do you remember some of my first posts about struggiling with my relationship with food? or how I stumbled upon eating a new way? well…I’m beginging to see a pattern with yesterday and today.  As I restrict eating with the smoothie challenge, I notice falling into old cravings of things “I can’t eat” that havent bothered me for a long time.  I was comfortable in my eating routine and now that i’ve changed it, for just a couple days, my head is having a hard time adjusting.  I find myself feeling guilty for a handful of almonds since i’m not supposed to be eating them.  What the? Almonds are so good for me! I need to relax! So now I need to retrain my head a little bit and remember to not overthink this.  I’m doing this smoothie challenge for fun and to feel good, not for a huge result so I need to remember to relax and take on those crazy cravings with a smile.
