Post Workout Smoothie

Hey friends!

Happy Monday! It feels good to be in my own apartment with Carson and Remmie, using my own kitchen, and sleeping in my own bed!  Strange that Vegas feels more like home but it’s become our own little adventure, just us figuring life out:) We feel so blessed, and I seriously say this all the time, but we really have been watched over.

Today I woke up and was ready to sweat! I did a mix of workouts at home and really felt it today!

I completed the BodyRock.TV Challenge I Won’t Give Up , Insanity Cardio Abs, and my own mix of some Tabata like this workout here. Felt so good to get my body moving!  After every workout I always need something to rejuvenate me as well as feed my muscles! Here is a new smoothie recipe that is great for a post workout meal!

Black Berry Spirulina Smoothie

Ingrediants

  • 1 c of unsweetned Almond Milk
  • Handful of Frozen Black Berries
  • Half of a Banana
  • 1 scoop of Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp (or more if you’d like) powdered spirulina powder

Directions

Combine all ingredients in the blender, almond milk first, blend and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy the smoothie as much as I did! A smoothie is always so refreshing to me and maybe if I drink more smoothies, spring and summer will come faster! Have a great Monday everyone!
