I’m Joining The Team!

Hello friends!

First of all, happy Monday to you! Get ready for a great week ahead full of healthy choices:) Before I announce some exciting news, I wanted to post about my Bountiful Basket today.  I picked up my co-op basket of produce Saturday and I can tell you how much I missed it while being gone! The price of the basket is a steal for the amount of produce you get and it’s all local and fresh! Because it is local and fresh, you never know what you are going to get! It gets me a little excited to see what’s in the basket each week!

  • 2 Heads of Romaine
  • 1 head of Cabbage
  • Tomatos
  • Red & Green peppers
  • Asparagus
  • Onions
  • Green Beans
  • Grapefruit
  • Blueberries
  • Apples
  • Oranges

That is a ton of stuff for just 16 bucks! It is a ton of produce but that’s mainly what I eat.  You can bet I’ve been enjoying smoothies, salads, and roasted veggies since Saturday:) Go online to bountifulbaskets.org to find a location near you and give it a try! What do you have to loose??  I think this week I will tackle some new soup recipes I found.  Maybe some sweet potato carrot soup? I’ll keep you posted on that one.

Now for some exciting news! I recently have been accepted as a FitFluential Ambassador!  I am so excited to be apart of this organization of fitness enthusiasts! Here is what FitFluential describes itself as…

I have such a love for fitness and I’m looking forward to being a positive force in spreading health to those around me! I’m just getting started so I will be sure to post more about my fitfluential adventures as they come.  It inspires me to be apart of an organization full of others who love fitness and I’m looking forward to getting to know them and try new things!
