Hey bloggers!
Happy Hump Day and happy post Valentines Day! I hope that it was filled with Love, Self Respect, and Chocolate! My Valentines Day was spent with my sweetheart a little early on Monday night with a delicious dinner and a fun evening at home. I had to drive back to Vegas yesterday to be back at work, (Happy Valentines Day to all you older women swooning over Donny) and thus spent it in the car. Lucky for me, Carson surprised me with flowers and chocolate covered strawberries to survive the day! What a good man:) There was also an abundance of Valentines goodies at work and believe me we all had our share.
First of all check out those cuties right there. My darling niece and nephew who couldn’t be cuter. Love my little Navy and Maddix! I got to spend a little time with my other baby Valentine Myer. I had so many cuties this year:)
I snatched this photo from Bryton’s blog. Check her out here.
I love Valentines Day because every one has a little light in their eyes and the knowledge that they are loved. It’s a day to celebrate not only the people you love but to celebrate YOU! Sounds a little silly but you can only fully love others once you fully love yourself.
So…with that said, why not Celebrate You Today?! Each day we make choices that mold who we are and what we are becoming. So here I go, tooting my own health horn, to tell you that you can celebrate you, love, and respect yourself, by making simple healthy choices. I knew I had been indulging on goodies over Valentines because I could feel it. Not in my weight or how I looked but I was tired and I could tell my tummy was not happy with the amount of sugar. Now I fully enjoyed those goodies but my body is ready for those simple normal choices again.
Be aware of how your body feels after eating. Are you tired? Or still hungry? I found it helpful to focus on how you feel after eating. Seemed silly at first but totally makes sense now!
So whose ready to Celebrate You Today?? Start with these tasty recipes followed by my latest fitness loves!
