cross fit = i feel pretty cool

hey luvs!

so i hope you enjoyed the travel recaps! it was a little fun to have those on the blog FINALLY! and it was enjoyable to look through those pics with a flood of memories.  sometimes i think its a miracle we survived that trip. all i have now is images of taken and scary men selling me off in slavery.  yikes.  be careful peeps.

whoah, on a lighter note.  i started crossfit.  yes i am still on the “on ramp” course (getting me ready for the big girl stuff) but i seriously feel pretty cool. walking in to the gym, i looked around and suddenly thought i was at a military boot camp.  tons of bars, rings, weights, kettle bells, boxes, semi truck tires, rowing machines, and so many other things i have no idea about. but i couldn’t wait to get my hands on all of it! maybe it was the olympics that motivated me try it out but i sure am glad i did.  believe me, i felt pretty cool when i completed some pull ups, granted it was with the help of a resistance band, but i was olympic gymnast status right then.  going for gold. go team.

yes ladies and gents, that says 5 am…i must be crazy.

it was a decision on both carson and i’s part since its not cheap, but with all the new health issues coming up and struggling to find a routine that keeps me happy, he let me sign up after receiving this text after my first class.  “babe, IT WAS AMAZEBALLS” he then told me amazeballs isn’t cool but whateves…all the cool kids use it these days:) right?

    You are so right! I feel cool just being there. I feel cool when I lift a big weight lifted over my head. I haven’t done tire flips but I am so excited to. CrossFit makes me feel powerful.
