There are a couple ways for you to see the Tulips! First is at Keukenhof which is open March-May. Itβs a large park with organized tulips and arrangements. A couple of greenhouses full of arrangements and plenty of places to take home a bulb on your own. There are cute activities for the kids, food trucks, and of course lots and lots of tulips! It does get really crowded so get there early!

Although Keukenhof was gorgeous, my favorite part was driving to the nearby tulip fields and wandering those! Our family friend suggested starting in the Noordwijkerhout area and exploring from there. We rented a car and just drove around to the surrounding fields! There is even a website to track the blooms! Bloemenradar.nl has the location mapped of tulip fields which helps with navigation if your driving! If the weather is nice out, you could even rent a bike and see the fields that way!
The pictures don’t do it justice! I wish I could’ve bottled up the smell and taken it home. Traveling constantly reminds me of how gorgeous our Earth is and that God is good. What a beautiful reminder to take a step back and “smell the roses tulips” and remember that experiences mean so much more than things.

June 9, 2017 at 11:01 amYour photos are so beautiful! I love tulips. I visited Amsterdam for a long weekend a couple of years ago in May but it rained the entire time we were there. I definitely want to go again and will be going to visit the tulips! Hopefully I’ll get better weather π
