The 1000 rep at Home Workout

Hey guys!

That title sounds a little bit scary but belive me it was an awesome workout.  With the cold settling in, I find it harder and harder to get to the gym.  I’d rather stay at home, in my warm living room, and sweat it out! Plus, there is no one watching me or anyone there to judge! Well…unless you count Remmie, but he mostly sleeps:)

I found this workout while browsing Pinterest (which seems to take over my life lately) and fell in love with it!

*If there are any on the list that you aren’t sure of, simply search the exercise in youtube, and you can find an instructional video to help you out.

I can tell you that my chest and arms were sore the next day! I’m not sure I’ve ever done that amount of pushups in one sitting but I loved that the workout targeted the whole body.  Working out at home requires discipline and motivation because there ins’t an instructor yelling at you to “KEEP PUSHING!!” It’s your responsibility to push yourself to reach the best results.  There is satisfaction to be gained when completing an at home workout and realizing what you are capable of.  Imagine if we pushed our selves to our best in everything we do? Where would we be? I think my dishes would probably be a lot cleaner:) But in all seriousness, I know that I can be better in loving more fully, investing my time better, getting more sleep, increasing my patience, and so much more! It’s my challenge this week to make an extra effort to push myself a little harder to be a little better!

Hey, can an old gal take this? Used to be in great shape, looking to get better by summer. Seems like a good ace to start.
